When I try to download the pocket camera database I get a message " Your Computer protection will not allow download.
I have norton and spycatcher and have tied disabling these but still get the same answer.
Please help. |

What operating system and browser are you using?
Also, what program is giving the warning (could be in the window title)?

I'm on IE7, and get Active X blockage note at top of screen, it's horizontal strip; clicking on will get you various options,
one of which is d/load.
The alternative way as explained on the site guide here,
is to right click on file being (or attempted to be) d/loaded and choose "SAVE AS" and save where you can find it.

If you select "Click here for options...", you should be offered the option to "Download software"?
FWIW, that's an Internet Explorer 'feature'. You can read about this and learn how to alter this warning or disable it here.
Hope you don't mind but I've edited the screen-grab to reduce the size

Is that the 'exact' error message you receive? A quick Google returns only one hit on that error message, and that's for this forum post!

Hi Darren
Followed your instructions re IE ---Internet Options security etc and have now been ale to download!
Thanks for your help I've learned a lot more about my Pc.
However I can't and may never understand why I was able to download previously since joining the club!
