How to get rid of message.....

when I turn on my nuvi 770 I get a message

"new extra data found on card. do you want to install so that it is available if card is removed"

now this 4 gb card has 3.5 gb of music and books.... so what is left is for downloading routes and waypoints from my PC.

Q: as a safety precaution - can I disable this message?

as I am concerned that I or the wife (far more likely) will inadvertently press "yes" and do something awful to the hard drive...... Rolling Eyes

Hi
Press yes, you then be taken to another screen where you can choose to to install the data on the Nuvi itself. Crucially there is also a tick box which says dont ask me again. So click the tick box as you dont want to be asked again and then click the no dont install on Nuvi button, nothing is copied over. Next time you switch the unit on it wont ask you to install on the Nuvi again.
