BC-307 and Pocket Loox 600

I have bought a BC-307 off ebay and trying to get it to work in my Pocket loox

I have installed the GPSINFO software and on a port scan it finds it on com5 and starts it up.

However I cannot get a position on it.

Has anyone had simular issues, any ideas?

How long are you waiting? You need to be oustide with a good wide sky view and allow up to 45 minutes for the initial out of the box fix. During this time it downloads Almanac and Ephemeris data which allows it to work out where in the world it is and what satellites it can expect to see in the sky.

The next fix will be a lot quicker as this data is stored in the GPS.
