Tomtom 700 not charging?

Hi all,

New here! I've had a look at some of the threads but can't see a solution of my problem - my unit will not charge from the plug in the wall cable, and will only switch on when I've plugged it into my car charger - which doesn't seem to charge it up, only for it to work on my journey. So it will only switch on when its plugged into the car.

I've tried pressing the reset button many times, but thats not fixed it. Not sure if it needs to be charged up for the reset to work - but I can't do that as it won't charge!!!

Can anyone shed some light, I'd be very greatful!

If it's not charging with either the home or car chargers, it seems to suggest a problem with the 700 itself.
I'd suggest you give the very nice people at SatNavShop repairs a ring....
