Navigon 6 & Poi warner

I have recently updated to navigon 6(used to have navigon 5).

I decided to get poi warner so i can have speed camera warnings but have a few questions needing to be confirmed.

I would like to use the speed camera database from this site and i believe it is possible(found a thread when i was considering navigon6 which mentioned this fact but cant find it now).

Would the speed camera data go into the navigon 6 map folder or the poi warner poi data.I have seen a thread which mentions changing the files to
*.asc format.

Finally does the Liz speedzone .ogg files also work with poi warner.

I like you bought PoiWarner however the speed camera warnings were only 50% of those supplied here!

I use the speed zoned Ascii files which I edit out the extraneous information before processing them with PoiConfigurator+ which I then use with PoiObserver.

I find the POI Warner database more than adequate. More often I find old camera warnings from road works rather than missing new cameras.

Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
