Navman 7000 first satnav total newbie Please help

Hi there

I have just bought a nav cam 7000 second hand bought on a budget so didn't research too much Price was right. I have tried the navman site to update cameras and maps and spent the last 3 days trawling forums and internet but there doesn't seem to be any information on it. Is there any where else I can get updates will the speed cam database on this site work or is it necessary/possible to update the software fully to one that can be updated if so to what? All help would be greatly appreciated.
