Asus a636N slow after WM6 upgrade

Asus released an upgrade on their site to take this PDA from WM5 to 6. They also released a patch to allow it to find your SD card again after you applied the upgrade ;)

I like the interface but it seems easier for the PDA to miss touch screen entries then before if you press too fast.

And in Destinator 6.1 map motion is noticably jerky compared to before and voice commands in the city are slightly delayed (well they're probably delayed in the country too but not so you'd notice).

I'm wondering what it will be like when/if Dest 7 is released....

Any way to get WM6 features with WM5 performance?

I've already disabled wifi & bluetooth by default so they don't chew up power.
