I had an update to TomTom HOME v2.0.0.366 when I loaded up this evening, but ever since, it's failed to connect/download anything (e.g. QuickGPSgix).

Is anyone else having problems?

Regards,
Mercury

Why they bring an update out so fast, why not just test it first before they release it

All fine with me. It has corrected my TT from thinking it was in the middle of Europe somewhere whenever I connected to TT Home. I do still lose the Duke Box icon from my shortcut menu though after disconnecting.

I just removed it, and installed v2.0.0.324 again. That now doesn't work either (it did the first time I installed it, before upgrading to v2.0.0.366). I get this error:

ERROR: HOME was able to connect to the TomTom server but did not receive any data from the server.
no stack

It does manage to find the new v2.0.0.366 update though, which I've not yet upgraded to this time round.

Mercury

I'm running this version also.... I tried to get this version to operate my 720 via the PC screen, first time around it told me the .dll file (or whatever it's called) needed to do this wasn't available. I tried a second time around and it downloaded it this time. Great I thought, I'll be able to this with my sd card still installed, no need to remove it (as with 1.6) but after downloading the file the entire home app crashed. Sad
An error message appears and mentions a xlurunner.exe as the file which might have caused the problem...whatever that is. Third time, same problem.

Yet it worked fine with 'mine' (Darren's really) with the SD card fitted. Most strange.

Got it working again by doing a hard reset using the reset hole underneath the unit

I still can't get even the latest v2 non-beta release to work. I uninstalled everything today, and loaded v1. With that I was able to update my 720's software and a few other files. It then prompted me to install the new (non-beta v2) version, which I did, and once again it isn't able to download any files in the update section. Sigh!

I've only had the 720 since Monday and am chuffed to bits with it - it's just a shame the software is a few steps behind...

But it's odd that nobody else seems to be reporting the same problem as me - instead they have other problems that I am not experiencing.

Regards,
Mercury
