Hi,
I'm thinking about buying a GR230 for my loox 600. Question is: Does it work OK? Main reason for asking is that the loox uses Pocket Plugfree which I believe is a FSC program for managing Bluetooth. Does this work OK, or should I be looking at a non-Bluetooth GPS?
Thanks in advance! |

Hi
I went for TTN2 and the TomTom wired GPS to connect to my Loox mainly for aesthetics and a really simple installation.
I haven't exploited the bluetooth capabilities of the Loox, but i know plenty of my colleagues use them with Nokia mobiles for e-mail and mobile working.
I work for Fujitsu (not Fujitsu Siemens) but we have quite a few around and certainly I have not heard any particular reliability or problems beyond battery life (solved in the newer Loox 610).
I hope this is a little helpful (though not directly answering your query). |

Hello
I've got a Holux GR 230 and a loox 610.
For the moment I#ve only got frustrating experiences with it.
The problem is not the mouse: the BT connection works OK with
gpsview or cruxview but there seems to be a Port problem between the Loox and destinator.
So it depends which navi software you're using.
I've seen posting with success reports using Tomtom but destinator or
the MN seem to have problems
