hi to all , is there anything i can change or add on my unit easly ,change the bong to names , if i put the cameras on from gpsworld will it also bong, thanks

Take a look at the Garmin nuvi forum and near the top are two 'sticky' items; Ash's Camera manager and Ash's Voice utility. The latter gives you the ability to do some minor mods to the built in (non TTS) voices. The Camera manager is very good. It will manage to whole process of downloading the database and creating all the files required for loading onto your unit with POILoader. With it you can add voice warnings to the cameras for your unit. You will need to get some .mp3 files - Ash does have a pointer to some good basic files - but there are also pointers to other voice warning files that may be converted to .mp3 without too much effort.

I should make it clear that I am talking about the PGPSW safety camera database from this site for use with Camera Manager. YOu can choose to use speed zoned cameras and get different warnings for each type and speed. If you want to use the Garmin database (Cyclops) then the Voice Utility will let you change the 'Boing' into a spoken warning - but it will be generic for all the cameras - e.g. "Warning - camera ahead"
