Hi
I'm trying to take some waypoints given to me in OSGB format ie[NH893101184] and input them either via TOPO preferrably or direct to the 60CSx. However, in TOPO they want waypoints submitted in lat/lon. In the 60CSx I can't seem to find how to input OSGB waypoints
How do I set the 60CSx or TOPO to accept waypoints in OSGB format.
Sorry to ask daft questions, but really struggling with this one! Laughing

I dont have my 60csx with me as I am at work. But from memory you need to change the Map Datum to OSGB and also the position format. Both settings are on the same page. Setup menu/units setup.

Hi
Thanks for that...you're right! But how do I manually enter a waypoint?

Assuming you have set the GPS to the correct datum/units. You create a waypoint by pressing the mark key. Then on the waypoint page highlight the location field and press enter. Edit the coordinates to what you want. Did you receive a handbook with the GPS. It's described on pages 10-11. The units setup is on page 74. If you didnt get a handbook you will find one here.

thanks for the info...the manual went missing in the move, no doubt will turn up! I've worked out how to do OSGB in TOPO now, so all is looking good.
Thanks again and sorry for the silly questions! :D
