POI Warner Software

Hi all - I have just aquired a Navigon TS7000T - I notice on the unit software is a POI folder and inthe folder a file named POIWARNER.OVM - is this the correct file for adding my own and Camera poi's or do I have to purchase POI Warner from http://www.navigating.de/cms/index.php?id=636 - Any tips or help greatly appreciated.

The unit connects to my PC fine and using Activesync - I have downloaded the software upgrade from 6.0.2 to 6.1 but when I run the upgrade once it has passed the language selection and asks me to select the dirve with the media card in, once selected it will not make the OK button active so will not complete the upgrade- I can write to and from the media card with no issues - anyone else with this issue?

Hi to all - Following on from my last post I have finally cracked the issues with POI-Warner locking the system up when a POI that you have added comes on the screen which can only be resolved through a 'reset' - In placeing POI's on the Navigon TS7000 please follow the following tips

1) make sure you have the latest update of MN6.1
2)Using POIEdit save any POI you obtain in Genric ASCII format (*.asc)
3)BMP's to be saved as Indexed Colour 8bits/channel (8 Bit depth) at 22x22 pixel size
4)and most important in naming the files do not use underscores in the file name (pocket_gps_Gatso.asc) either keep the file name together as (pocketgpsgatso.asc) or use the degree symbol as the seperator.
