Hi,
For some reason when I go into Favourites to edit the camera distances, I can`t save 50 yards as the second alert. I tick the second alert at 50 yards, save it but when I open it up again 50 yards is unticked. If I use any other combination the program saves it but will not save 50 yards as second alert. Have reinstalled the software and the maps to no avail. I used to be able to save it.

Can anybody throw any light on this problem.

Acer n35, destinator 3.0.75

Thanks in advance

Harry

Have you set the first alert distance which must be greater than second alert distance

Hi
Thanks for your reply, was looking all week for an answer then gave it a rest. Yes, whatever I set the first alert at, it will not save the second alert at 50 yards. Save s the second at all the other distances.

Harry

Hi Harry,

Check out the Destinator download area and try the PN update for WM5:
http://www.destinatortechnologies.com/de_DE/mydestinator/index1.html
This should solve your problem.

Hi Rock
Thanks for your reply. Haven`t seen this sheet before. Have downloaded the patch you suggest but my handheld is an Acer n35 - Destinator 3. The readme for this patch states it is for destinator PN indows Mobile 5 - 5.1.65 or higher, are you saying this could be suitable? I also D/Loaded the patch for destinator 3.0.75 but this one states - This update can only be used on PocketPCs using an ARM processor, mine is a samsung S3C2410.
Regards
Harry

These updates are no real updates but full installation packages instead.

So why not, run a backup, uninstall D3 and give the pn-update a chance. Wink

Hi Rock
Brill. Renamed the 2577 file on the card and copied the one from the update on, Hells bells man I have a totally different machine !! It has certainly solved the problem with saving the second alert at 50 Yds. All I have to do now is learn what all the new icons are. Won`t take long. Even shows the state of the battery without having to open windows. It`s 00.47 now so will prove the distances in the morning. Will inform you of progress.
Regards

Hi Rock

Good arrow mate. Not having to set anything on D3, Could not get any GPS to start with. Found the settings and had to permutate them. Arrived at, just in case anyone else wants 2 do this - Com Port = 8. Baud Rate = 19200, although each Baud setting didn`t make much difference. Protocol = NMEA & obviously tick 'Auto Reconnect.' Screen looks totally different now and using is much easier using icons. Thanks again. All the best. Harry Smile
