tomtom go full postcode entry

hello all
i have an early go which has software version 6.520 and map version 660.1223. I have never see the screen for inputting the full postcde. i thought it would appear when i updated to 6.520. can anyone help as its awful not having full p/c entry. many thanks

First of all check you are selecting the PostCode input from the correct screen, Navigate To/ Address/ PostCode.

Assuming the above is what you are doing connect the device to your PC and have a look at the Memory Card in the root of the card should be a folder named zip, in this folder should be great_britain postcode files.

It is quite possible you didn't install the postcode data when you installed the map, use TomTom Home and the option to install postcodes is a seperate check box at the bottom of the screen - Mike
