Hi Norris,

I don't have a Garmin and I know that someone will be along soon to help.

But I went to the Garmin site and downloaded POILoader and there appears to be quite a good help file advising how to change warning distances manually.

Regards

Use POILoader to install the POI make sure you set the units of measurement to MPH (defaults to KPH which messes up and speed related warnings such as cameras). Below this box is another drop down set to Express, change this to manual and it gives you options to adjust the distance etc.
If you already have POI installed to the device installing more will erase the installed ones, you need to put all the POI you want into a single folder on the PC before pointing the POILoader application at the folder containing the POI - note the 310 has a limit as to the number of Custom POI Categories that can be installed of 257 so do not go put any more than 257 POI Categories in the folder - Mike

See - I knew someone would be along to help.

That is what is so good about this site. Other sites you have to wait days for a response.
