N America Maps

It seems like 2007 has barely started...although we're already into Q2, and TomTom are already releasing 2007 maps via their "Map Center" section. They are TeleAtlas maps dated 2007.01, likely meaning Januray, indicating a shift from quaterly updates to monthly updates. Even better, lucky TomTom users in the US and Canada can get these maps for free.

GPS Satnav is only just starting to take off over in the states, for once we are a little more ahead of the game here.

You will find that TomTom isn't the market leader it is here, hence why they are getting the free updates as an incentive to get a TomTom in America !!

Good marketing if you ask me, it's just us mugs that get suckered in and always buy the latest and greatest. Personally I'm sticking with v660 here.
