Hi

I do lots of miles and quite like the way the Indago operates. Not terrific value for money but there you go... money is spent so I live with it.

What I can't live with is the fact the man at Performance Products tells me I can have a free update of maps and postcodes but I will lose all my favourites which are vital. Furthermore the SD card has to be sent back to Runcorn for them to do it - This is Earth, 2007 isn't it?

My question is, I recall reading in the advertising blurb that the Indago is programmed on the Linux platform (doesn't need a reset button as it is that stable) 8O

Now isn't Linux meant to be open source and everyone can get to the nuts and bolts?

If anyone knows if this issue has been overcome or knows a website - I'd be interested to learn!
