I think all acer n35 have this problem i could understand it if it had poor signal but not GPS not found

I think its aproblem with when you shut down programd Min can be up to 50 minutes before signal or never

But if you do a soft reset it should find GPS in 10 minutes this seem to re start it

But it is a poor unit for GPS signal

This is what happens with Navman Pin570 and it may be the same with n35:

Every time you turn off the PDA and on again you have to turn on the GPS in the setting.

See if that is your problem.

That’s just it there is no setting to switch it on and off just the settings in TT and I have gone through every one of them. But the GPS light comes on as soon as you flip it open with it being built in should I have a driver or utility in the PDA menu

Sorry to hear about your trouble. I've been running TT6 on my N35 for a while now and I have had no trouble finding a GPS signal. My settings are:
other NMEA GPS receiver,
baud rate 9600
GPS ON NAVIGATOR

After a few seconds it usually starts searching for about 8 satelites. I have no other software running to make this happen.

As far as I can find there is no direct way to control the built in GPS under settings.
