D3: Connection forcibly closed by remote host - copying maps

Still having probs with D3. I got the subject error when copying any maps to the mobile device. I managed to get the maps on eventually by copying them direct to my card reader rather than directly through ActiveSync.

I found a reference to improved reliability in copying large files as a benefit of ActiveSync 3.7.1 so I updated to that, and now I'm able to move the UK map via D3/ActiveSync/2210. Still get the same error though when copying France (larger map), so had to revert to using the card reader again.

Is this an ActiveSync problem, or a D3 issue? Do D3 owners have to have an external card reader in order to transfer maps to their PPC?

It is a D3 issue, and we have made PowerLOC aware of that. Copying large maps via ActiveSync is a bad idea anyhow. Not just that it is unreliable, it also wastes your time big deal...
