Camera database and standalone software

Hi Folks

Apologys if this has been answered already. Am looking for a standalone application to use with the camera database. I wish to be able to have alerts etc when using applications such as memory maps or Garmin Que on my ppc(imate pda-n) have looked at cameraware(modaco) thing but would require me subscribing to their Camera database system, and as I have this already with pocketgps I can't see the point especially as they don't show certain cameras(modaco database) such as redlight cameras. Anyway I would be greatful for any advise as to software that will meet my requirements.
