TOMTOM GO Classic and TOMTOM HOME

I recently updated TOMTOM home to the latest version 1.3 (few days ago)

Now when i connect it up via USB, TOMTOM home cannot see my device. It was working fine before i updated it.

I have also noticed that when i plug in my USB pen, the usual pop-up window in XP, does not come up anymore and i have to go to windows explorer, find my drive letter and then open it up.

But once i uninstall TOMTOM Home, my USB works fine. Infact everything was OK before i updated HOME.

I can't update my TOMTOM Classic if TOMTOM home cannot see my device!

Any one had this problem or know how to solve it?

In TomTom Home, redefine your device type (while the GO is connected). This will update the devcie signature file on the SD card.

You can also install the program versions without TomTom HOME. Use HOME to download the update but then install it manually.
