Ive just got a Venture as a new toy. Im really impressed. However, can anyone help me? Ive got it set to British Grid/ Ord.Survey, in the units. Now when i look for waypoints on the Ordinance survey website, it gives two letters, and 6 digits. I know how to program a waypoint, but i want two letters, 5 digits, then another 5 bigits for the BNG. Any ideas where i can find these on a web site, im scratching my brains out. I have found some interesting places near me on the map site, but cant figure out how to convert the coordinates, any ideas?

OS Grid References are given as 2 letters and then a varying number of digits. The only difference between a 6 digit reference and a 10 digit one is the precision claimed. A 10 digit reference should give you position to within 1 metre but a 6 digit one is only to the nearest 100 metres. For your purposes take the first 3 digits and sufix them with 00 then do the same with the second 3 digits.
