I've been trying to connect my Rider to a Pama PNG-4 Si BT speaker so I can use it in the car, but so far no luck. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
Rider won't connect when I ask it to connect to headset and not sure what else I can do. Thanks in advance.

Have you put the PAMA in 'Find me' mode?

Fellow Triuph Rider. I connect mine to external speakers in the car. I use Creative Travel sound speakers and a stepdown adaptor to plug the speakers into the provided blue tooth device.

I know this doesn't answer your question but it is an alternative to using a head set in the car.

I thought I had tried the Find Me mode of my Pama, but I mustn't have.
The difference might have been disconnecting the TomTom headset 1st so the Rider was looking for a new device rather than the usual one. It did
that as soon as I tried the Find Me.
Thanks Tim for being so patient with us all, Rider and Pama are now communicating like a couple of old ladies over the garden fence.
Stu1066, glad you found a method of making the Rider work ok.

IIRC then if you ask the RIDER to connect, it will ask if you want to connect to the last connected device. If you say 'No' then it will ask if you want to search for a new one.
