Have seen a few on-line shops advertising the TomTom TMC unit for release in mid August for about £60.00.

Anyone else got any news on this (or even used one yet) ?

Unit?? I would have thought its just an fm antenna which plugs into the TMC socket. The manual makes scant mention of TMC - presumably because TT want you to subscribe to their service for ££.

I didn't buy the TT because of TMC, but it would be a very cool feature. Im surprised they don't use as a selling point!

Sorry - I meant unit as in add-on (for the 910, etc series).

I think the add-on is actually an RDS receiver and antenna in one, which also includes the subscription to one of the TMS services (iSYS I believe) which is linked/coded the the TMC add-on (as opposed to the 910 itself).

I'm also surprised it's not more of a selling point - unless the servcie isn't considered reliable or mature enough?
