Well i've done the right thing by taking my 910 back to pc world and got a refund with no problem. I must say that when I do buy another 910??? or whatever I will buy it from them as they do take goods back upto 28 days later after buying them, works for me. But here is the main question..... when will there be a "new" 910 out with new fittings on both the unit and the mount? or do I buy a different manufactures unit ie navman 750?.

Among various problems with my 910 was one with my remote control which at times didn't work even after resetting the 910 untill I discovered that taking the batteries out of it then leaving it for a minute then putting them back in, it worked. As a fully qualified radio amateur I have various test gear and one piece I have is a frequency "sniffer/scanner" which tells me what frequency a certain piece of gear is transmitting on and my remote was not transmitting at all untill after taking the batteries out and then reinserting them. I wonder how many others have this problem??. So if its not the 910 it could be the remote thats got its knickers in a twist?.

Derrick

the cb's running through a 20 amp dropper & the tt running off own battery power.within a few seconds of turning cb on cannot find sattelites.
