In car SATNAV query

The good news is that Hounslow police apprehended the lowlife that nicked my Tomtom - well done chaps. The bad news is that it has now disappeared off the face of the earth - along with many others they nicked.

I am going to go down the fixed satnav option now and would still like to maintain the option of a camera database as it made me pay a lot more attention to speed monitoring. Am I right in thinking that Kenwood are the only manufacturer with this option? Anyone know any different?

Has anyone any experience of the Kenwood kit?

Any replies much appreciated.

It is effectively a Garmin unit, so any Garmin format poi's will work. Loaded some French speed cameras for recent trip and it worked well, only beeping when we were over the speed limit.
