Downloading POI query

Usual newbie question. I downloaded one set of POI .bmp and .ov2 files from here:

But when I tried to extract them from Winzip to My Documents, it just didn't seem to extract the whole file. The size of the .ov2 file in Winzip is 12,016 (12,016 what I don't know!) but the size of the corresponding file in My Documents is only 12 kb, only slightly larger than the accompanying .bmp file, so for some reason it hasn't extracted the .ov2 file properly.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Its probably something basic as I'm a complete beginner at any of this.

The value in Winzip will be 12 KB (plus a bit). The BMP File will be about 1-2 KB in size.

Which Zip File did you download? We can then see what is there and what you should have.;)

Yes, the Winzip file is 12kb but my query is that presumably once you've extracted that into "My Documents" it should be a lot bigger.

I've tried it with something else now, MacDonalds POI's, and its the same problem. The size of the .ov2 winzip file is 25,911 whereas the extracted .ov2 file in My Documents is only 26kb.
