Palm TX and TomTom 5 bluetooth conectivity

I've recently got a packaged Palm TX + TT5. Works fine, but the problem is that if I'm using Tomtom without the bluetooth receiver, say just browsing a map, the system keeps wanting to find a bluetooth device and pops up the Palm's device search application. I cancel it, but pops up again after a few seconds. This is so annoying.

I used to run a Palm T3 and TT4 and never had this problem. Any way I can stop this?

I haven't found a way The initial release didn't it was only after the updates they added this

I agree it is MOST annoying!
