I use my 700 on the continent extensively, just out of curiosity can anybody confirm that ASN only seems to work if the tunnel location and distance is written in the map data. IE ASN works well in Switzerland (lots of tunnels) but in Marseilles the tunnel through the city,and on the peripherique around Paris useless.

ASN works by having gyroscopes normally wih detect when the vheacle is turning. Professional ones are linked to the speedo to.

Its mearly all guestimation even the crude system implemtented ont he 300 where it just keeps going at the last known speed is good enougth until it stops in a rearlly long tunnel.
