hi everyone,
i bought a tomtom one out of a local paper last week,
he never had the original charger for it as his dog had chewed it, he even showed me the charger.
so i went out yesterday using it and the charger he gave me,
the green light was on the top to indicate it was charging and was all working fine,
i went to work this morning and it wouldnt turn on,
is it something to do with the charger,
what can i do about it, where's the best place to take them to get fixed and last but not least, what's it gonna cost me to get fixed
any help appreciated |

Have you tried a master reset, there is a small hole at the bottom of the One, push a straightened paperclip in this hole & then it should work. _________________ TomTom Go 910 (3) v.6.522 Map Western Europe v.650 with useless TMC receiver

Hi dunning
Did you see it working before buying it & what leads did you get with it? _________________ TomTom Go 910 (3) v.6.522 Map Western Europe v.650 with useless TMC receiver

Certainly not Maplins (they don't repair anything), and computer shops wouldn't have the specialist product knowledge.
Your best bet would be http://www.satnav-shop.com/
or TomTom themselves. |
