TomTom MkII GPS Receiver Gone AWOL

My TT MkII Receiver keeps running away with it self,

I can be driving along and all is well untill it then starts putting me off the road and then usually end's up going the other way at great speeds (Had 228Mph once),

This has started to happen more and more offen, And it's starting to become unusable,

I have tried a factory reset using SiRFDemo but that hasen't helped,

Is it a satalite problem or is it the receiver?

I can't be without the receiver too long if it needs to go back,
