Tomtom voices

can someone tell to me if other voices can be added to my pda version of tomtom 5 and how do i do it i have an Ipaq 4700

Dave, you will need to add a folder called tomtom (if its not already their) into the root of the SD card and leave it empty, also a folder called voices in the same place (SD card root) and put the voice files into this folder, the voices can be downloaded from the various sites at a price, to try a few free ones try www.tomtomsatnav.info you want the voice skins page - Hope this gives an idea - Mike

Dave, one final thing to claw back some precious memory go to the MyDocuments/ TomTom folder locate the dataxx.chk, and dataxx.vif files (where xx is a number) and copy them to the SD card voices folder, once they are there, go back and delete the ones in the My Documents / TomTom folder - this normally recovers around 0,75MB of memory which is useful - Mike
