The i3 camera warning still frustrates me - it's so nearly a brilliant set up - but has been resticted by Garmin.

Either the POILoader or the i3 firmware has an or function for the speed OR the distance to a camera POI. The distance seems to be based on a set timing function. All this sounds good unless you want to change it. In my area there are so many cameras that the warning goes off all the time! Also the camera POI icon is only displayed when you exceed the speed limit. In other words you have to drive illegallly to find out where the camera is !!!!! (which of course I never do Embarassed )

Several of us have tried to change both the speed and warning distance but not quite got all the features we want. For example, a warning 'bong' about 1000 ft from the camera would be sufficient and then maybe a continuous 'ping' if above 35mph (?) for a 30 limit. However, POILoader seems to prevent this.

Reading the POILoader help file seems to suggest that a gpx file may be able to change both speed and distance.

Has anyone tried this? If there a reference for the gpx file format and have Garmin added there own tags for speed/distance etc?

Any info much appreciated
