Dear All,

I was kindly provided with a link where if you emailed a guy called robin-willow he would send you the POI files. I have emailed/pm him with no response yet. (He could be busy!!!! I know). Does anyone else have these files for Bridge Heights and could send them to me asap. I need if possible heights for bridges 14ft and below (inc the 14ft ones). Also does anyone have width restriction POI files?

I would be grateful for the files, also how do you go about putting them onto the navman 510? is there any others software you need to convert them.

Thankyou

Jason

Try the following site;

http://www.poihandler.com/

Lots and lots of POI available, some are free such as low bridges and some are available for a small fee.

For Bridges - Click on download POI, select the file type (i.e. Navman), select the Country, select Traffic and then finally Bridges (this one is free).

I have no idea how good (or bad) this POI is as I only drive a Galaxy so low bridges don’t present a problem.

On the subject of POI there is also a site for French Speed Cameras;

http://www.radarsfixes.com/

Bit difficult to navigate through the site but appears to provide good information, as yet untested by me. I’ll be using this database on my holidays later on this year so I guess I’ll find out soon enough whether it is any good or not.

Hope it helps.
