Mitac Mio 269 Mountig Bracket

I have just purchased a mio 269 and i'm really dissapointed with the windscreen mounting bracket, its easily postionable because of its length, but it vibrates and moves around like a right sucker, it makes an annoying rattling sound and is difficult to read when wobbling about.

Has anyone got any ideas how to stop this, i've tried mounting it so its touching the dash but thats no good, is there any different brackets that may be a bit better?

How easy is it to bend the flexible part?
Mine is a 2 handed job and doesn`t flex or vibrate when mounted.
Perhaps the flexoible part on yours is too flexible and hence the vibration.
