I seem to have lost all the info on the sd card in my zire 31.When I try to use the satnav it says no maps available anyone have an idea how i can get it back working?

First verify the contents of the card. Have the maps really gone from the card ? Or is the software just not finding them ? |

I had a similar problem the other week but a soft reset of the Pocket PC sorted it out. I imagine that a soft reset of the Palm Zire would have the same effect. Give it a go. |

Thanks for the reply fellas the soft reset sorted it out but I lost the free upgrade to version 3 and cannot remember my log in anymore. oh well back to 2.5 for me.once again thankyou

I'm glad it got sorted Gary. Shame about losing the upgrade. When it comes to sofftware upgrades and purchases, I always keep a copy of my passwords and/or usernames just in case I need them again in the future and that list gets copied in my backup procedure. For a home user, that can be as simple as keeping the list on a floppy disc. |

2.5 is better anyway. Version 3 was more of a downgrade. |
