Garmin Vista C and Memory Map

Just having and look through the threads for an answer but cant seem to see anything. Problem is I am trying to connect my Vista C and under the GPS setup I keep getting 'Failed to terminate RS232 thread, Please reset/reboot and try again'. This is in both USB and seriel settings.

Any ideas would be most appreciated.
