Medion MDPPC 250 European Maps

Hi - New to this site so please bear with me !

My father in law has a Medion MDPPC 250 running Navigon 3.1 (purchased from Halfords not Aldi's)
He is trying to get hold of maps for Scandanavia and Denmark - the MedionShop does not have Scandanavia for Navigon 3.1 but does for Navigon 2 and 4

Ok the questions ........

1) Will the Navigon 2 map run on 3.1 (don't want to spend £70 if it won't work?)
2) I have visited the Navigon site and see there is now Navigon 5.1 - can he upgrade from 3.1 to 5.1 on the MDPPC 250 ?
3) Is the upgrade process easy ?
4) Does 5.1 come with UK maps / will his existing UK maps still work ?

The version 2 map WILL NOT work with the version 3.1 version you have, do not waste your money!

Sorry but I cant answer your other two questions.

I suspect the update will work and the upgrade process would be easy, but you will have to make sure you have the correct version for your unit.
