Zoom buttons

Can somebody tell me how the zoom buttons (+ and -) are supposed to work in the navigator screen. If I press one of the keys, the map is zoomed, but after a couple of seconds it goes back to the original position.

It's the way that TT5 works I'm afraid. Until, that is, TomTom changes it the next time or someone comes up with a Hack.
