I just had to vent some fustration and sharing with others who seem to be in the same predicament seems to be the thing to do.

I wonder how many users in a survey or 100 people or so who previously used TT3 would honestly say TT5 was better?

I am finding it almost unbelivable that TT5 can be so un-user friendly, irratic and problematic. After the sucess of TT3 (which i have now reverted back to) TT5 is such a dissapointment.

I come to these forums on a daily basis and normally sit in the background and read what others have to say. It seems of late that its all problems with TT5.

Come on TomTom, you know you can deliver the goods (TT2 and TT3) give us the same with TT5.

(Venting over)

I have upgraded from TT3.07 to TT5, and am very happy.
It takes some time to learn all the good things that TT5 can do (Like all REAL men, I never read manuals, help screens or guides).
I have found TT% to be more stable than TT3.
Yes, I have lost a few features, but gained many others.
All in all, for me, the upgrade was worth it.

On the whole I think TT5 is an improvement. Running on my ipaq 3950 it seems more stable and quicker but I miss the features that CheckPoint offered and will be relieved when other forum members report that a new version of CP is bug free.
