Hello PC Mobile

Thought I had better reply to you on your own forum, so to speak, rather than the general one.

Thanks for your answer to my query regarding connecting the DGPS Max to a 3970 Ipaq.

I can't find a G9XPM on your website - can see a G9PM but no "x"!!

But I am a bit thick about these things anyway! Please can you tell me exactly what I need so I can refer to it on your on-line form and price it up? I do intend to buy it if I can keep the cost down, but since the receiver doesn't belong to me I dont want to invest a bomb! Your comment about future flexibility is therefore a help.

So to recap - the receiver is a DGPSMax made by CSI Wireless and it outputs data through a DB9 socket connector ( or at least that what it says at http://www.csi-wireless.com/products/documents/CSIWireless_DGPS_MAX_Owners_Manual.PDF )

I want to connect it to a 3970 Ipaq with NO expansion jacket or software to set up any special ports or anything!

If your cable suggestion will work please spell out just what I need and the order will be in the post!!

Tim

I might have confused the issue above!

Although the receiver has a serial socket, it has a lead connected to it which ends in a serial plug! I would prefer to leave this attached to receiver. ( when I aquired the backpack this lead was connected to the PC card which in turn plugged into the Ipaq expansion jacket!!!!)

Now I think I have even confused myself - do you do sale or return!!!

Yours

Tim.

Please see: http://pc-mobile.net/g9xpm.htm

You need G9XPM + GQ38 or GQ38P
