Brilliant - sounds like someone has thought about it. I was concerned that on a long call I would miss all the gps instructions.

Just need to select a suitable bluetooth gps unit, or go for the sdio gps...

Such decisions...

Thanks for all the responses

Definitely go for a Bluetooth GPS, the best is the Globalsat BT338.

Apologies, but another question...

Does the software allow you to program calling card numbers? Or chain dial numbers?

Many thanks

Doues anyone have a link for the standard Pocket PC Phone Edition features or a manual?

I was dissapointed when I tried the Eten M500 with Bluetooth. It does not have the "HANDS FREE PROFILE" which means if you have a car with built in Bluetooth you cannot pair the units. I am being charged %20 to return this device. In all the reviews I read nowhere did it say it did not have the HFP. This is one of the things that killed the sales of the S/E P910.

The Eten M500 has Bluetooth headset profile. Most BT carkits can connect to this.

I don't have a BT equiped car so was unable to test this.

OK, I went for the plunge and got one on contract.

Initial thoughts - nice size, clear screen, neat unit. Very happy with it.

It works OK with my Jabra, but I haven't yet upgraded the parrot firmware, so I don't know if it works with the parrot yet. The xda's work, so I'm hopeful.

It takes a while to get used to having a combined phone and pda, but I think it will be good. Some bits of the OS I haven't sorted yet - like the option under power manager for Key Lock. The Eten manual concentrates on the phone aspect of the unit, not the basic OS functionality.

Battery life seems OK, and getting better. Charging via the usb cable means that I can charge it in the office, or in the car if it gets a bit low.

I'd say the only problem seems to be the low signal it gets - many calls going to voicemail instead of letting me answer them.

I'd be interested to here other users comments.

Many thanks

I'm not so sure that it has 130MB of RAM (I think the review states this)
It's probably got 130MB of Memory (64MB RAM + 64MB ROM + xMB other ).

Does anyone know for sure?

Am i correct in believing that the rom is where any aditional programs are stored and the ram is the memory used by the programs whilst they are running?

Cheers
