navman speed cams

Hello, am new to this scene, I have just bought the Navman ICN510 and I have downloaded the speed camara database. My computer has associated MS Excel to the file. I have del the 1st row as instructed in the setup on this site. When closing the program down as usual it asked me to save the file with a message some feature are not compatible with .CSV do you want to save the file. I choose yes and when i try and put the POI into navman Iget a message saying "no poi found in the input file.

If I choose no to save the file then nothing happens..... Its says to open the file in a notepad. I have tried to change the program from Excel to notepad but have failed to do so. can someone please explain what am doing or not doing as the case may be...
