I have seen a new Medion Sat Nav at Toysrus yesterday for 299.99.But the staff were not able to give me any valuable info.Even the show model seems to be just a dummy and staff is not keen to show the real thing.Any one has any idea about this product?

Yes but not much details,Says it is suitable for 9+yrs.So it is not for serious drivers.Also nothing about euro maps. Lidle is going to sell one on thursday(19th) for 199 which seems to be more informative with 3 yrs guarantee.

The Lidle unit looks to be a Mio168 PDA which is better than the Medion unit from T-A-US.
