The PocketGPSWorld.com database works with all TomTom systems including the new GO300s and is of course completely free.

We are trying to get a copy of the TomTom database at the moment. We will then be performing our normal review of it. I would like to think that we will be impartial, but you can make the ultimate judgment.

Doesn't TomTom Plus only work with TomTom Navigator 5 or Mobile 5?
Perhaps they should concentrate on getting TomTom Mobile 5 out first, before trying to fleece their customers out of more money!! |

As a new owner of a Tomtom GO300 , and completely unaware of the existance of Pocket GPS. I unfortunately opted for the expensive Tomtom Plus version of safety cameras close to £50 , Whilst this appears to function quite well I was as you can imagine most upset to realise I appear to have been ripped off with no regress. Especially as Pocket GPS is constantly updated, whilst that of Tomtom is only up till now, promising to update at some time. Would I be better to write off my mistake and delete the pricey Tomtom version and to opt for the Pocket Gps? Or is it possible to run both systems on the same SD card? 128mb   |
