A. Email us either your OV2 file or ASC file and we will work out which cameras we don't have and which cameras we do have. Please be careful when adding cameras not to add false ones.
Thanks for that. What I'm not surte about is the steps in Palm1 Tomtom version 4.420 how to correctly add a camera as a POI, in the right catagory etc.

Please excuse if I'm being dumb....
I'd like to send in some new cameras, and assumed that the "camera number" that you'd like me to refer it as would be painted on it somewhere.
But whilst leaning nonchalantly up against them and tapping at my Tomtom, I couldn't find any numbers anywhere.
As these have only just been installed, and they are the first cameras I've actually looked at closely, am I just being too quick and they've not been commissioned, so no one has given them a number yet?

The number is the number of each camera you send in, i.e. 01,02,03, etc. The number you see on each camera listing is the database number used for easy reference.
Even if they haven't been commisioned yet, submit them as the data will be available when they are working _________________ Richard

Ah... so nothing to do with an "official" reference number, then.
Thanks for clearing that up - I was beginning to get funny looks as I minutely examined the camera and pole for an I.D.
