Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone can help me. I have gone from the Tom Tom Go to The Go 700 so that I have a car kit for my phone, it works very well with my Sony K700i but I would like to use my Blackberry on it as it would be easier to carry the one phone. the Go 700 finds the Blackberry but wont pair with it even when the passkey is entered. I spoke to Vodafone who say that it is a Tom Tom issue as the Blackberry finds the Tom Tom no problem but the Tom Tom just wont have the Blackberry. Is there anything i can do or should I stick with the K700i and ditch the Blackberry? Or is there another phone that will do what the Blackberry does or similar that will work on the Go700, something like a Ipaq. Help Please.

Thanks in advance.

I understand that the Blackberry has a number of issues with its Bluetooth implementation which may be the cause here. I very nearly bought one until I discovered that this was a very weak feature of all the Blackberries.

If the Sony works, use that. At present there are few alternatives to Blackberry though. There is a push email service for PocketPC Smartphones and Palm's Treo650 called GoodLink which is proving popular (my XDAII connects fine) but the BT implementation on the Treo is poor although I don't know if this means they don't work with the GO's.

Thanks Darren, I see in the menu of the GO that there are several phones that are not listed on TOM TOMS web site as compatible on the menu, but the Blackberry is the one I have at the moment, further investigation has pointed out the Blackberry weak point in Bluetooth-all is becoming clear, I have asked Tom Tom for there advice but still nothing back yet.

Thanks again.
