Are you using a 203 that is specially bundled for 1930 (use IR) or are you using a wired one for Ipaq?

The wired one for Ipaq does not work with 1930 because 19xx series do not have serial port.

its the bundled car kit which connects to the bottom of the ipaq and the reciever - the round socket into the pda car mount.

You should configure 1930 to use the IR com port.
I do not know which it would be on 1930.
