mio 168 crashing

help only had a day and already crashing
had to reset a couple of times
think prob is with tom tom vavigator 3 which wont start
tried a restore from activsync ..no good
now uninstalled from 168 but exe file still on desktop
how do i remove this

on tom tom how many points of interest have you got on it as if you have installed to many it wont start and the pda will just stop why dont you just do a hard reset on it and this will start the pda from scratch like doing a format on a computer it will take it back to as if you just brought it with nothing on it and reinstall tom tom again to do a hard reset take the battery of for a minute and reinstall the battery

Hi,
Just a detail, but you can't "take off the battery" on the Mio 168.
To hard reset you switch off using the tiny recessed switch on the back.
I know cos I found out the hard way Crying or Very sad

I thought it was the normal off switch.
Leave well alone unless you want to return to the factory default state and wipe all your installed software.
