LIDL 6500XL - POI

Hi

Does anybody know how to get usuble POI onto the lidl 6500XL as the ones on the FALK website (recommended/supplied) are out of date & well CRAP!

Does anybody know of any alternatives?

Hi Rob,

No it's not possible, I e-mailed Map and Guide on the subject, The replied after abot a month saying it was not possible, end of interest it seems. Unless anybody else has any ideas?

What format do the files use that you have downloaded from Falk, or do you have a link to the actual web page as I could not find any link to there poi's

I could then take a look to see if it may be possible to use others.

The link provided with the software to download these free travel-related addresses as they call them is http://www.falk.de/navigator/eng/79.htm as you'll see the ones provided are useless unless your heavily into obscure sports, youth hostels or Embassies!

I have had a look at these files, they are in a format called Map&Guide which I don't know anything about.

The only information I can find is this, but it is in German, so me no understand !
